Lulishte 1 Maji

Lulishte 1 Maji testifies the story of a great love for cooking. Located in the heart of Tirana, it enjoys a strategic position, in front of the Albanian Parliament and next to the historical monument "Ura e Tabakeve". Inside of the restaurant is situated the most ancient oak tree of Tirana, the Tabaki Oak Tree. Our restaurant begins its activity at the time of the Albanian Communist Regime, where, following the rhythms of folk music, Albanian families taste typical dishes of Albanian tradition. In the 90's our company detects the restaurant privatizing it. Over the years we have tried to maintain our traditional character by painting it with Italian, Turkish and Mexican cuisine. In 2000 we introduced Chinese cuisine for the first time in Albania by opening Chinese Garden Restaurant with the Chinese Chef Suijun Zheng. Immediately it become a must go on of Tirana. Now a day it is a meeting point for the Chinese living in Albania and for the Albanians who want to enjoy typical Oriental dishes. After more than twenty years of service we do not consider the customer as part of our "Business" but part of a large family called Lulishte 1 Maji. Lulishte 1 Maji does not follow the trends but creates history!
