115You can admire Istanbul from above and when the sun is shining the views are spectacular. Inside area is massive and outside is wonderful cafe and few local art shops. It is accesible for wheelchairs but quite far from metro (public transport).
Visible from almost every part of Istanbul the Çamlıca Mosque is a reason to visit the Anatolian side of the Bosphorus. Able to hold 63,000+ people the mosque was completed in 2019 and sits high atop Çamlıca Hill in the Üsküdar district. Busy during prayer times, but serene otherwise, pay attention to the spotless marble and glorious interior. There is even a gift shop for those seeking something unique. Currently this is Istanbul’s largest place of worship.
Peaceful, impressive surrounded by a lovely park with the best Istanbul views. Really impressive inside and out, can see the mosque from nearly everywhere in the city it’s so big. Not too busy either in comparison to the more famous sites
Such a stunning area. We visited during winter. Lots of snow which added to the beauty. Definitely a must for everyone. It's located on the Asian side of istanbul. Takes approximately 30 mins to get there from eyup sultan
A newly built mosque that can only be described as majestic to say the least. Massive size, meticulously worked interiors, well designed facilities including multi storey car park, large courtyards, a cafeteria and attached park for a relaxing walk. Camlica district itself is a place to see as well.
