Besiktas

I took a ferry over from Eminőnű to Beşiktaş and was so gladi did. It has a really laid back vibe with lots of coffee places, bars and restaurants to suit every palate. There is some good shopping to be done too. I really enjoyed soaking up the atmosphere while wandering the little streets.

Perfect place for having fun with friends and family. Perfect pub and places. There is too many options to drink beer with friends.

Reminded me of a smart suburb of London, with high end shops, restaurants & cafes with their customers eating & drinking outside. Locals with their designer dogs. We will definitely stay in this area & spend a lot more time here on our next trip to Istanbul.

Besiktas is a beautiful district in European Istanbul right on the Bosphorus. It has lots of landmarks including the famous Dolmabahce Palace. It is considered to be one of the most important areas in Istanbul due to its business and shopping areas historic sites, universities and scenic views of the Bosphorus strait. A transportation hub as it has several metro, bus even ferry stations. It's the first area right after the Bosphorus bridge joining both European and Asian sides of Istanbul. It's really a diverse area as it's home to very different neighborhoods such as the classy Levent and Etiler also the popular historical business center and Ortakoy. Full of restaurants, cafes, bars, shops and even shopping centers. You literally can spend all your trip in this very interesting district.

My most enjoyable experience was drinking beer and enjoying the beautiful cafes and beaches of Besiktas
