After reading other reviews, my partner and I booked this spa for a couples spa day. Overall, we had a great experience. We opted to do the classic package with a sports massage (a must if you like deep pressure!) and the hamam. Both of our massage therapists were excellent! For the couples massage we were in separate treatment rooms, but there was a window between them so we could see each other, which was different but cool. We expected to be separated for the hamam, but they actually brought us into the bathing area together so we got to do it fully as a couple, which was an unexpected surprise. That was an amazing experience! One drawback was that you can hear people outside in the spa’s corridor when you’re in the massage room. But this didn’t bother me or my partner too much. Overall, we’d definitely recommend this spa for couples visiting Istanbul who want to do a spa day together.
To note: there is only one member of their front desk staff who speaks English. This led to a lot of confusion with making a reservation. We called, spoke to a member of staff who spoke only Turkish (which we, unfortunately, don’t speak) and were told we were booked in. When we showed up for our appointment it turned out we didn’t have one! But the staff were very kind and helpful in sorting out the confusion. But the difficulty in communication for booking, and the fact that the facilities were pretty basic (small sauna and steam room, pool that was closed, no quiet rooms) is why we gave 4 stars instead of 5.
