181Beautiful square with a mighty gate. 1. The Gate which is the main entrance of Istanbul University is magnificent. 2. In Beyazit Square, you can go inside the mall and buy some stuff. It is relatively cheaper than the Grand Bazaar even without Bargaining. (Of course you need to bargain though. ) 3. You can visit the Beyazit Mosque, it is just next to the square. 4. Remember to bring your camera so that you can take more pictures and bring more happy memories back home :)
It is a lively piazza next to Beyazit Mosque and Grand Bazaar. Great for people watching. Can be reached via Tramway T1 Beyazit - Kapalicarsi stop.
I am a big city girl, so I crave the culture, hustle and bustle around me. so beyazit square is that for me. you have some good decent street food stall, restaurants, café, shops etc. nearer to the grand bazaar you are more expensive the stuff is. shopkeepers on the street have a weird mentality though and I found them to have an attitude leaning towards rudeness. But restaurants are fine. and some shopkeepers are nice. but ratio of rude: nice is 70:30. So don't get in an bargain where you feel it is moving towards insults or arguments.
Excellent, this is a nice square in Istanbul and very attractive for foreigners who visit this place
This is a great place to shop and eat. Lots of fake brands outside and you need to bargain. Prices not too bad. Lots of eating places. Saw a few currency exchange places as well.
