About

Iznik Works' vast selection includes reproductions of Seljuk and Ottoman works, taking you on a journey back to the Iznik of old, with special pieces by ceramic artists including classical vases, plates and tiles. Also the pieces from matte, antiqued quartz; the quartz plates and vases look as if they have just come out of the ground.

Bought a lot of wonderful items at this store, I’m very grateful for the owner himself for helping me out and his staff were sweet as well.

Beautiful ceramic bowls, plates, vases, and more here that are food safe / dishwasher safe!! My friend and I spoke with the owner, Ismail, for a while, while sipping on Turkish coffee and apple tea. He is incredibly friendly, and I really appreciated their hospitality. I also got unbeatable prices and loved the colorful, unique designs shown all around the store! Plus, they wrap and can ship all of the pieces for you. Would definitely recommend checking it out!

I wrote another review about my experience with the İznik Works team when I was in Istanbul in 2019. I can’t say enough about how wonderful that was. We had a return trip planned for ‘20 that was naturally canceled. We also decided ‘21 wasn’t likely to pan out either, but we wanted to buy a few additional pieces and didn’t want to wait another year. I reached out to İznik Works through their website and they helped me using WhatsApp to get exactly what we wanted. The process was easy and they were very patient and gave us great service even though we’re thousands of miles away. They have a customer for life. Not only are the products stunningly beautiful, but their service is simply unmatched. I look forward to being able to share some çay and shop in person. Until then, shopping remote will have to do!

We noticed the shop of Mr. Dursun among many others in Grand Bazar, because of his genuine hospitality and the quality of the products. While enjoying traditional Turkish tea, we had the privilege to learn about the history of Grand Bazar, and about how the shops were passed from generation to generation in his family. He spoke very proudly about it and it is fascinating how much hard work and effort he has put into making it the way it is today. Mr Dursun works with many local artists, that are producing these unique and beautiful pieces of art , none is the same with the other. We bought this beuatiful vase for Boris' mother. Mr Dursun also connected us to other merchants whom we could trust we buy quality for reasonable price ( Fabrics, spices, sweets ). Don't miss this unique Grand Bazar experience with Mr. Dursun!

Great place if you are looking for quality traditional Turkish antiques. It's like walking into a museum when you walk into the shop! The owner was very helpful and friendly too. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for unique antique pieces.
