This fountain is quite near the Obelisk of Theodosius in Sultanahmet Square, so you're likely to be very near it when visiting Istanbul and should stop by for a look. It's generally called Kaiser Wilhelm Fountain.

Located near the Blue Mosque, the German Fountain is a nice piece of architecture, and you also get to see quite a few folks' drinking water from its taps!

The German Fountain dates to 1898 and dedicated to the second visit of the Prussian King and German Emperor Wilhelm II
It's beautiful and very photogenic.

At the far end of the Hippodrome was the German Fountain, built around 1900 to commemorate the Kaiser’s visit. Although not old it did fit in well with the surroundings and was certainly photogenic.

Doesn’t really have the wow factor. You will see it when you go to the Hippodrome but not worth a special trip to go and see it.
