excellent vibrant street and neighbourhood , lots of boutiqes and stores for shopping fit for all kinds of budgets , also has several nice cafes and pubs several historical sites like galata tower and san antonio church are located there as well don't miss it at all

Love Istiklal Street and Taksim Square. Quite touristy with lots and lots of eaterie, shops and cafes. Can get busy but it's a wide street so doesn't feel crowded. Don't forget to take a picture of the old train.

The best way to travel around Istanbul is to use the public transport. This route goes through to all the main attractions. Historical landmarks. Museum’s. Monuments and Mosques. All you need is an Istanbul card which you can use on the bus, train and metro.

Amazing neighborhood, really loved it. Beyoglu is a multilingual and multicultural city and its intellectual minds represent modern Turkey.

We spent most of our four days trip in this area. Our hotel was on Tamsin Square & we shopped, dined & drank around this area. Super busy, always something going on.
