97If you are interested with modern art you must see this museum (gallery). I am visiting this place when i find any time to refresh my sprit. I even had a chance to meet with Mr Dogancay once when he was alive.
It is hidden in one of many streets in Beyoglu. Even though it's really small, it includes the artist's various photographs shot around the world. The series on Brooklyn Bridge for my taste was more interesting and captivating than the rest. It takes an hour to tour the whole museum and it's for free. It's a great opprtunity to discover the photographer side of Dogancay.
The museum is located in central Beyoglu, but in a street where you normally never pass. When I've visited the place there was the exihibition of "Burhan Doğançay as Photographer" which was quite impressive. The staff was friendly and guided me through floors.
We visited this museum but our guide allowed 45 minutes and now suggest need a minimum of 2 hours to appreciate and take in the multitude of well presented exhibits. Suggest Google the museum prior to visit to prioritise outer time.n we had fir a variety of other sites and made a mistake by not knowing what to see in the timeframe, vehicles ad a result was too short.
This is art museum I was not knowing before going to the place, i fee bit bored but suggest if you know about art good place for visit
