About

Tuncer Gift Shop is located in Sultanahmet since 2000s. At the beginning, we started working just on the street and just with one person who is our founder. After a while we expanded our job and we opened first showroom in 2008. When we came to 2012, we have five showrooms in Istanbul and nearly 15 team members. We believe that customers are special; so we made each showroom special by itself. We have two showrooms for ceramics, one shop for special home textile and carpets and one showroom is just for selling jewellery. Our products are also special only for our showrooms and you cannot find the same product in any other shops.

What an beautiful shop and amazing staff, Osmond I think, so helpful polite, brought some lovely silver jewellery and they even helped us how to get back to our hotel..... However we couldn't understand how to buy the tickets from the metro and no taxis would take us back as rush hour..... So we decided to walk back to where we where dropped off by our taxi so rush hour would have subsided, which meant re-tracing our steps. I had a operation at the start of the week and was really really struggling to walk and was in alot of pain and the journey took us back past this shop.. Osmond saw us and he took us back to the metro, paid for our tickets and managed to get us on the last train back, so so so truly grateful so kind, this will be paid forward many times thank you. Osmond an actual angel 😇😇🥰🥰🥰

Great selection with even better prices. No high pressure sales people. They let you wander at your own pace and are there to answer any questions. I had a nice chat with Ibrahim, who works there, over Turkish Chai. I recommend this establishment.

Shopped all over Istanbul found that this place was a lot cheaper than the overpriced bazaars with absolutely no pressure to buy. Murad was extremely helpful. Took a lot of time with us looking at different tile sets. Bought a 6 piece tile set and a few other little things. Great light selection. Highly recommend this place. Murad said if we rubbed the lantern we bought from him, he'd appear. So far, he hasn't come out of the lantern but we are still hoping!

Young seller from Turkmenistan was good, spoke a good english, welcoming. Many items available - reasonable price. Shop mainly focused on painted porcelain items and lamps. Minor things missing: more choice for blue mosque items, hagia sofia items and galata towers items. And why not selling lukum as well. Would be nice to be able to buy mini copies of those monuments there. Overall cool little shop.
