323Having been to istanbul a few times i wanted to do something not on the main tourist map. I had a bit of a problem finding the museum but i think that was my sense of direction as its very near the train station. I think this is perhaps more for adults who will love the memories it stirs, that said there was a group of school children there at my visit and going by the chatter i think there were really enjoying it!perhaps it baffled them as to the toys of old. There is a wide variety of toys to see and well worth the visit.
Visiting this museum is one of the top things to do on the Anatolian Side of Istanbul. The collection is very rich and the display is very attractively organized. As a young person, I felt like I was travelling in time. I thank Sunay Akın for collecting all these valuable pieces and founding this museum!
Amazing, great museum. Clould spend hours looking at these toys. All type of toys you can find here. Fascinating how much attention is paid for details
It was a time-pass visit and very entertaining. So many different types and includes mechanised ones as well. I loved it.
If you are a foreigner be ready to pay 500 lira for two! Its really small and hard to be reached. Doesnt worth your time at all
