Fenerbahce is one of the best places in İstanbul that have many different attractions with parks, restaurants, sea view. It is nice in every season but especialy in summer and spring.

The Fenerbahce parc shown as in the picture is quite a long green area near the sea, just in the front of the princess islands. You can sport, walk, bike as you wish. İn the week days it is calm and quiet. A perfect place to relax. İn summer time there are also a small beach to swim .

It's a peninsula on the asian side of Istanbul. Very popular for visitors, as it has tens of restaurants, cafes, etc. When you walk further, there's tha small park, at the tip of the peninsula, where you will relax, enjoy the scenery, and may have a tea/coffee.

Mix feelings about Fenerbahçe: is a lovely leefy neighbourhood with a wonderful Marina and nice vibrant restaurants and a rather youngish crowd but...is this the Istanbul we expect to see? Just happened to be here because of Turkish friends that live here so I am enjoying the experience however if you want to see/be part of Istanbul I do not recommend this neighbourhood. Now we have been told that 50 years ago this area was a summer retreat destination out of Istanbul but in these years has changed and has become a very affluent residential area and of course is now part of Greater Istanbul, famous more than anything else for the football club of the same name. If you want to go to Istambul a short ferry ride out of Kadikoy is perfect also to enjoy the beautiful skyline of Sulthanamet from the water. Different and interesting!

This stretch of coast on the Asian side is a true gift for Istanbul residents. Starting from Fenerbahçe and going up to Maltepe and even further, kilometers of land reclaimed from the sea are used as parks and recreation areas today.
