Kadikoy Carsisi

Istanbul: Great place to visit, lots to see and do, great people, food, historical sites and shopping for those who love it. Easy to get around, airport bit of hassle due to size etc but otherwise well worth your visit. Tip watch some of the zillion you tube videos on getting around, dinning, shopping. I found some great advice.

Very vibrant and crowded place. It’s quite accessible by boat and the Marmaray line. This place is also cheaper than the European side. Worth a visit,

I had visited Kadikoy area only for couple of hours. I came from European side (Old city Istanbul) through Sahir Hatlari cruise/ferry/boat. Enjoyed roaming around the carsisi with a large Starbucks coffee :-) I had also visited Bagdat street, MMM Migros market at Caddebostan. Right beside this super shop, enjoyed the view of Marmara sea from a park near this supershop. I've used Marmaray while returning back to Old city from Kadikoy.

Came over on the ferry to make sure that we went to the Asia side. Enjoyed strolling around looking at the shops. All very relaxed.

Vendors seemed to be friendlier in this market vs some others visited on the European side. It was a great place to sit and have a tea or coffee and do some excellent people watching!
